3x image index is a graphic design studio + press 🔗 producing & designing prints , textiles  and spaces grounded in cross-cultural + cross-generational research with a SEMI deep + SUPER unserious approach to making. We believe re-contextualized imagery can function like a node, intersecting seemingly disparate identities and histories. We call our process [image composting]because we’re sifting through discarded personal and collective archives, desconstructing language + imagery > growing new forms that reflect our layered, contradictory, and evolving nature... 🌱

NOTE: Our knowledge of natural processes is rudimentary at best, but it felt like a (metaphorically) appropriate way to describe this facet of our art+design practice. We recycle and intersect images and words fπrom our personal and collective memory which is housed in our physical and digital archives, to create new visual information containers to housing our multitudes. It’s Alchemy! We’re collaging, remixing & bootlegging to visually repesent third culture identities.
